ABS+ is a small Android app for your Audiobookshelf server. Stream or download audiobooks and podcasts, and pick up where you left off on any device.

Free and open source, with no ads. Prefer sideloading? Grab the APK on GitHub. You need an Audiobookshelf server to sign in to.

What it does

Plays like one book: Books split into many files play with a single timeline. Lock screen, headset and Bluetooth controls work out of the box.
Works offline: Download a book or a single episode. When your server can't be reached, the app switches to your downloads on its own.
Keeps your place: Progress is saved to your server, so the web player and other Audiobookshelf apps continue from the same spot.
Listen together: Share progress on a title with another account, for example a partner on a road trip. You're asked before jumping to their position.
Favorites and series: Favorites sync between your devices, series come straight from your server, and recently played stays one tap away.
Small and quick: About 4 MB, built natively for Android. It opens straight to your library.

ABS+ only talks to the server you sign in to.
